Henry Lever Action Rifles

Big Boy Brass

Big Boy Brass Rifle & Carbine

Back when the West was still wild, a lever action rifle in the saddle and a revolver on the hip was the loadout of choice for putting meat on the table, surviving the night, and serving up frontier justice to put outlaws behind bars. Though the West was tamed and fenced long ago, its spirit lives on with the Henry Big Boy Brass Rifle and Carbine. Don’t let the vintage aesthetics fool you, though; these pistol-caliber lever guns are built to meet the demands of today’s enthusiasts.

Big Boy Steel Side Gate

While we are fond of the brass tradition begun by B.T. Henry’s 1860 rifle, we do understand that today’s hunter may prefer something a shade lighter on the mountain, and the Big Boy Steel Side Gate carries on the same brush gun appeal of the brass-framed Big Boys in its overall configuration, but with upgraded features for the modern hunter, while weighing in 1.68lbs. less than its cousin.

Big Boy Steel Side Gate, Color Case Hardened

We made our initial centerfire reputation with the handgun-calibered Big Boy, so it was a logical choice to expand the steel-framed case-hardened finish into that line-up, and we’ve got six hard-workin’ lever actions here that merge the classic looks of those beautifully-done case colors and octagonal barrels with the practicality of a side loading gate and lighter weight than the original brass models.

Big Boy X Model

Creating the mold and then breaking out of it is something that we take great pride in. It’s how we progress and continue pushing the boundaries of what lever actions are capable of. The Big Boy X Model does just that and marks an evolutionary step in a product line with quite the pedigree. Modern hunters and shooters need a robust platform with the versatility to perform several different jobs and the X Model provides it right out of the box.

Big Boy All Weather Stainless

Henry Big Boy All Weather

Big Boy rifles in “revolver” calibers established the original reputation of our centerfire models. These All-Weather versions let you hunt in the rain and the snow with no fear of creeping rust. We have further upgraded these rifles to include a side loading gate for rapid magazine top-off while retaining our original removable tube magazine for safer unloading. These slick, tough rifles come in three calibers, all with 20-inch round barrels for the long sight radius and maximum ballistic performance.

Big Boy Revolver

As the perfect companion to ride alongside our world-famous Big Boy rifle or as the star of its own show, the Big Boy Revolver is a classically styled six-shooter fully capable of bringing the Henry name into the wild world of wheel guns with the same attention to detail and American craftsmanship you know and love.

Homesteader

With the brawn of a workhorse and the beauty of a show pony, the Homesteader delivers versatility like few other firearms can, effortlessly going from bedside protector to varmint patrolling ranch hand and back again at the end of the day. Don’t let all that work trick you into thinking it’s all business all the time though, because a trip to the range for some casual plinking will prove that the Homesteader also knows how to have fun.

Long Ranger

We’ve developed the Henry Long Ranger to stretch the envelope in a design that takes the hunt to the fur in popular calibers at longer distances. The Long Ranger retains traditional lever action operation with an exposed hammer and forged steel lever but updates it with a geared action. A machined and chromed steel bolt with a 6-lug rotary head is driven into a rear extension of the barrel for a strong and consistent lock-up from shot to shot to shot.

Lever Action Shotguns

Light and quick-pointing, Henry .410 lever action shotguns now feature side loading gates for expediently topping off the magazine while in action. Six-shot tube magazines can also be loaded through the front of the tube and unloaded rapidly without having to cycle shotshells through the action. Low in recoil and report, these shotguns match the manual of arms of the centerfire Henry rifles for the instantly familiar feel.

Axe .410

Not all firearms need to fit neatly into categories like hunting, home protection, or good ol’ backyard plinking. Simply being fun to pull out of the scabbard and shoot again and again should be a category all its own. For those that join us in considering this an important category, the Lever Action Axe .410 delivers in spades.

Mares Leg Side Gate

Back in the heyday of the TV Western, Steve McQueen, the star of “Wanted: Dead or Alive,” rode across black-and-white screens toting a sidearm like nothing any lawman or outlaw had carried before. A cut-down, modified lever action rifle, this iconic firearm could be holstered like a pistol but fired with the speed of a lever gun. Nicknamed the Mare’s Leg, this innovative weapon brought swift justice to outlaws every week and rose to fame as the real star of the short-lived show.
